Our support staff

Beyond our crew, management and trustees, it takes an entire workforce to keep our service responding.

From those support staff who manage the work of our crews in the Patient Services and Flight Operations teams, our Fundraising, Volunteers, Retail and Communications teams, to our People, Finance, IT and Facilities teams, it takes a great deal of knowledge, skill and expertise to make sure we are there when we are most needed.

Patient Services TeamThe Patient Services Team is the essential team that is there to support the work of the crew.
Flight Operations TeamThe Flight Operations Team is critical in ensuring the safe and consistent running of our aviation arm.
Fundraising TeamThe Fundraising Team works closely with the communities that supports us in Devon and beyond.
Retail teamThe retail team does incredible work as the first point of contact for our supporters in the community. Our high street shops often act as ‘hubs’ to local people, and, along with our e-commerce team, teams work incredibly hard to ensure supporter donations keep the service responding.
Volunteers TeamThe volunteers team look after the 650+ strong volunteers who lend their time throughout the entirety of Devon.
Communications TeamThe Communications Team looks after all our digital and visual communications, the press, our advertising and more.
People TeamThe People Team looks after the entire workforce at every level of the organisation to make DAA an excellent place to work.
IT & Digital TeamThe IT & Digital team ensures the smooth and secure running of all of our digital systems across the organisation.
Facilities TeamThe Facilities team looks after all of our estates from our high street shops, to head office, our warehouse and two airbases.
Finance TeamThe Finance team is responsible for managing the income and expenditure of the organisation, looking after our legacy income and purchases.
