A volunteer shares an important story on World Mental Health day 2024

The spotlight on a volunteer who has made an enormous contribution to Devon Air Ambulance over the years.

Volunteers are the backbone of our high street charity shop presence. Whether they are helping with sorting and preparing garments for resale, or serving our customers, their contribution is incredibly valuable to our service.

As well as making a positive contribution, volunteering can be a fantastic pathway to employment. Aimee and Kyle are two such volunteers.

John is a Tavistock charity box collector and decided to support us after his grandad was airlifted.

Lysianne is a volunteer at our Exmouth charity shop and joined us in 2017.

Richard has been with the charity as a volunteer for over 10 years. here is his account of his experience with the charity.

Richard and Helen have been supporting the charity since 2000 and have given talks across the whole of North Devon.

Mike and Vera joined us when they raised funds for us for their Ruby Wedding Anniversary. Since then they have been regular speakers for the charity.
