Giving Circle

The Devon Air Ambulance Giving Circle is a group of philanthropic supporters whose dedicated annual commitment is underpinned by the belief that every critically ill or injured patient should receive the best-possible time-critical care.

By joining our Giving Circle, you will help to fund the cost of a mission and make a real difference to everyone whose lives we touch every day. As a charity, we do not receive any government funding, so we rely on donations from supporters like you. Our local communities are grateful for your valuable support. Thank you for considering your contribution to our lifesaving work.

Life can change in the blink of an eye. We’re here to support those in need during their most vulnerable moments.

Specialist Paramedic, Jessica.

Supporting Devon and beyond

From the moors to shores and everything in between, we provide emergency pre-hospital care to those in need, across Devon and beyond.

When every second counts, getting the specialist skills of our Critical Care doctors and paramedics to the scene is paramount. Thanks to the broad area of cover provided by our two airbases, we can reach 90% of Devon in less than 20 minutes.

While our doctors and paramedics bring hospital-level care to patients to treat and stabilise them at the scene, our helicopters will convey patients to the best hospital for their ongoing care in the fastest time.

You don’t really understand the value of a charity like this until you need their help, that’s why everyone should support DAA.

  • Recognition of your support on our website and Annual Report.
  • Priority invitations to our celebratory events.
  • Biannual updates with charity news and details of how your donation has made a difference.
  • Our dedicated Relationship Manager will provide a close connection to the charity.

Life-saving support

If you live in Devon, you may well have seen one of our helicopters or Critical Care cars on its way to an emergency.

You may have wondered about the situation our team members are being called to, and the lives and families involved.

Every day in Devon, families hear distressing news about loved ones involved in road traffic collisions, cardiac arrests, and other life-threatening situations, but many also receive good news about the life-saving interventions from our service.

With your help and support, we will continue to be there for you, your family, friends, and your wider community if needed – by air and road, 7 days a week, every day of the year.
