Your chance to win in £500 worth Usborne books this World Book Day!
It’s World Book Day on Thursday 6th March and to celebrate we’re offering your primary school, or uniformed group (i.e. Scouts, Guides, Brownies) the chance to win a fantastic bundle of beautiful, brand new books!
How to enter
Host your fundraising event and be in with the chance to win one of our bundles! The school that raises the most money in the given time will win £500 of beautiful books, generously donated to us by Usborne books. There will also be five prizes of £50 book bundles for five runners up.
- Host your fundraising event between 6th March – 31st March 2025
- The competition is open to all primary schools in Devon
- 1st place is £500 worth of Usborne books
- 5 Runners-up can win £50 worth of Usborne books
Fundraising ideas
- Dress up as your favourite book character (donation to take part)
- Readathon – read as much as you can for sponsorship
- Book-themed bake sale e.g. Harry Potter cupcakes and Gruffalo cookies!
- Host a Book Swap for donations: bring a book, take a book and donate.
- Or create an event of your own!

Terms & Conditions
- Entry is open to anyone representing a school or uniformed group.
- Fundraising activity must take place on or before Monday 31st March 2025.
- Proof of fundraising activity and income must be submitted using the above form, by 9am, Friday 4th April 2025.
- First prize is a bundle of brand new Usborne books and games, worth circa £500 which will be awarded to the school/group raising the most funds.
- Five runners-up will receive a £50 bundle of brand new Usborne books and games.
- The Organiser – Devon Air Ambulance Trust, 5 Sandpiper Court, Harrington Lane, Exeter, Devon, EX4 8NS reserves the right to make any changes to these terms and conditions of entry.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for any other item.
- The judges’ decision is final and no appeals will be considered.
