Race information

Starting at the South Brent Old School Community Centre, the first three miles will see you running uphill following the river to Shipley Bridge, one or two brief descents will follow to give you some respite.

There is then a tarmac section (though still slightly uphill) before you get out onto Dartmoor, turning right at the Avon Dam and crossing below the Abbott’s Way and heading south east, and emerging near the boundary fence which takes you south, close to the head of the Harbourne exiting the moor near Dockwell farm.

Blizzards, nearly waist deep bogs – you’ll find them all in this section of the course. The route then heads back via the infamously muddy Brent Hill and Lydia Bridge.

This is a tough race and not for the faint-hearted.

If you are up for this challenge, secure your place and raise money for our lifesaving Charity at the same time by creating your very own Wild Night Run fundraising page in support of Devon Air Ambulance
