Not only are our shops a great place to visit for good quality preloved garments, as well as household goods, toys, gifts, books and other media, they also play an important role in reaching our amazing supporters.
Our shop staff and volunteers work hard, not only to keep shops fully stocked and looking great, but also in sharing their knowledge of the lifesaving impact donations to and purchases from our shops have on our service.
And with retail outlets like our Barnstaple Community Hub, where local people can congregate and get involved in community-led activities, and St Marychurch, where shoppers can enjoy a cup of our Crew’s Brew coffee together, our shop locations offer far more to local people than simply a place to bag a bargain.

Our Mishap Fashion range helps your gifts go further
Let’s face it, not every fashion choice stands the test of time – and not only because fashion is fickle! Sometimes, preloved garments can experience a little wear – a missing button, a small mark, a dropped hem. Often these garments are straightforward to repair and otherwise good quality or vintage in nature.
We felt that perfectly good items with very minor defects shouldn’t be sent straight to rag when flagging the damage for resale could easily find new life.
Our Cowick Street shop is our Mishap Fashion outlet and definitely worth a browse. Embracing these unique finds is all part of the charm and adventure of shopping at Devon Air Ambulance.
