Anyone, anywhere in the UK can become a patient and in need of time-critical care at any time.

Throughout Air Ambulance Week, join us in celebrating the incredible stories shared by those whose lives have been impacted by the dedicated teams of critical care medics, who bring the hospital to the patient at the scene! Each act of support today becomes hope for tomorrow, increasing the chances of survival and improving patient outcomes.

Why Air Ambulance week matters to patients like Mary

Former patient, MaryAir Ambulance Week is an opportunity to recognise the difference Air Ambulance charities across the UK make to patients. Mary is one such patient who was helped by our service.

As a teacher, Mary was just at the start of her summer holiday, but when she was walking her dog a car ran into her, putting her in hospital with some painful injuries. 25 years later Mary has raised a lot of funds for Devon Air Ambulance with support from her amazing community. Read more about Mary's incident and her fundraising success.
