Gift Aid helps your donation to go further still
Gift Aid is a government scheme that lets charities claim tax relief on the donations that you make to them.
When you donate to Devon Air Ambulance, it’s usually from your post-tax income. But if you agree to Gift Aid, we can claim your basic-rate (20%) tax back from HM Revenue & Customs. Essentially, your donation gets a little boost!
For example: You make a donation of £100 and agree that we can claim Gift Aid. We can then claim £25 from the state in tax relief, meaning your total donation now amounts to £125.
If you are earning enough income you can apply Gift Aid on any personal monetary donation and on donations made to our shops.
